After more than 10 years in the industry, one thing is clear to me, inconsistency is the only constant. As generative AI, automation and rapid production reshape the landscape, great design is what sets brands apart. In fact, it has never been about the tools, it's always been about strategy and alignment. These things come from a deep understanding of brand, the market and wider cultural landscapes. Working for many great names in New Zealand then jumping into the world of brand identity design and strategy has given me a deep understanding of how design needs to speak to its intended audience.
