Jump Jump
Client: Code for bananas
Brief Overview: I was approached by Code for Bananas, an indie game developer to create the visual look and feel of an upcoming mobile platform game called Jump Jump.
The Challenge
Client's Needs: The client needed carefully crafted graphics aligned with the game's identity and target audience of casual gamers, who enjoy simple and addictive mobile games. We decided on a quirky space aesthetic with a bold bubbly logo, highlighting a quirky atmosphere that alludes to simple yet compelling game-play mechanics, that will inevitably result in hours of fun!
My Role
Contribution: I created the visuals for the game, and the menu design. I also created a promo trailer which uses a mixture of frame-by-frame animation and standard animation in After Effects.
Menu design
Here are some gifs showing a mock up of the main alien character’s walk cycle, and the other showing the in game menu the player sees on screen.
Game Scene
Here is an illustration of a scene in game, showing the space elements in the background and the main targets in the foreground. As alien your goal is to collect a variety of food including; donuts, baguettes and pizza slices.
